Research Databases

IDRC believes knowledge-sharing is critical to addressing issues in developing countries. We offer access to two databases:

IDRC Development Research Information System (IDRIS+): This comprehensive database contains all of IDRC’s project descriptions and research outputs.
IDRC Digital Library (IDL): The digital library contains more than 42,000 items dating back to our inception in 1970. The IDL helps IDRC’s grantees gain visibility for their research by sharing their work through global open access.

Researcher Resources

Through the IDRC library, we offer research resources and services to our funded researchers. They include:

access to a collection of commercial research databases
document delivery service for scholarly articles not available from the commercial research databases
access to RefWorks (bibliographic manager)
information on additional knowledge-sharing resources for researchers
